40Rp grün, weissrandig auf Brief aus Frankreich nach Bern. In Evian ist der Brief mit einer Strubelmarke versehen worden, von der franz. Post als ungültig erklärt und mit 40 centimes taxiert. In Genf ist die Taxe radiert worden und der Brief normalerweise nach Bern weitergeleitet, sehr ungewöhnlich, Attest v.d.Weid40Rp. vert, marges blanches, sur lettre française. timbre appliqué à Evian, lettre taxée à 40 centimes par la poste française pour timbre non-valide. Au passage à Genève, la taxe a été annulée et la lettre a pu poursuivre son chemin jusqu’à Berne, exceptionnel, cert. v.d.Weid
