4 cents Black on Blue surfaced glazed paper, position 3, cut octagonally with part of the word “FOUR” slightly touched, with initials EDW of postal official Wight, cancelled by DEMERARA SP12 1856 cds, a few light thins, a tiny crease and slight traces of water stain at bottom left, however above average state of glazing and good fresh colour, a most desirable example of this world rarity which has been off the market for almost 50 years (SG £150’000)Provenance: Bridger & Kay Ltd (1976)
