1878-1986, Extensive and valuable collection of China covering all periods from the early Imperial period, noted 1878 Large Dragons with small margins and mint/unused and the first to values of the large margins issue, fine selection of various used singles of the 1885 Small Dragons issue, 1895 set mint, 1897 overprinted set mint, rare 1897 surcharge on 1885 issues type II, three 1897 surcharges on revenue issue singles mint including the rare $1 type 1 single, also good section of Shanghai overprints, 1912 Revolution issue mint, 1912 Republic issue mint, then extensive Sun Yat Sen section, airmails, back of the book issues with postage dues, the RARE unseparated EXPRESS DELIVERY stamps plus some used singles, locals with Manchuria, Sichuan, Yunnan etc., foreign offices incl. France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Russia, USA and Japan, the second stockbook with exclusively Peoples’ Republic of China showing a great deal of completion including 1960 Goldfish, 1961 Chrysanthemums, 1962 Mai Lang Fang including min.sheet, 1964 Poenies including min.sheet, 1964 People with Banners triptych, strong Cultural Revolution section with Mao’s Poems and Thoughts incl. the two 1967 strips of five, unfolded and in very fine condition, also very fine 1968 Mao strip of five, then two 1971 triptychs plus min.sheet, later min.sheets seem very complete including 1979 Young Girl, also two examples of the 1980 Red Monkey, please note also a good section of French P.O. showing a wide range of different offices, overall a very fine collection with only a few adherences but prior to the Cultural Revolution section and not affecting the min.sheets, in four strockbooks and one folder plus an envelope with booklets from 1978 to 1984, lot includes also a collection of FORMOSA in one album, a great lot1878-1986, Importante collection de Chine en quatre classeurs et une chemise avec les blocs-feuillets ainsi qu’une enveloppe avec les carnets pour la période 1978 à 1984. La collection va de l’époque Empire jusqu’à la période de la République Populaire au milieu des années 1980, prière de voir les scans complets de la collection, à noter qu’il y a pour la partie République Populaire d’avant la Révolution culturelle quelques adhérences aux pages du classeur principal, les blocs-feuillets sont à part, la collection comprend également une section Formose et une section des bureaux français en Chine, une collection de très bonne qualité dans son ensemble et de grande valeur
