1855 2d Deep Green used strip of four, close to good margins, indistinct numeral cancels, vertical crease affecting 2nd stamp and small yellow stain at top, otherwise fine and fresh. An extremely rare multiple and the second largest known. Provenance : Caspary, Burrus, Earl (1980, lot 2107 CHF 21 000)
