1869, Envelope with full contents from Philadelphia to Paris bearing 1869 Pictorial 15c type II with cork cancel, despatch cds dated December 10th alongside, carried by French Paquebot “Pereire”, ETATS-UNIS / PAQ.FR. H N°1 paquebot cds in red, cover was then forwarded unpaid to Egypt with “Forwarded By / Drexel Harjes & Co Paris cachet in blue, returned to Paris and taxes “6” décimes. An extraordinary destination for the 1869 issue and a spectacular usage
