1880-1920, Superb collection on pages displaying +150 covers/cards including handed-illustrated postcards, mixed franking Hong-Kong / China CIP, French POs, French Military Campaign, noted two covers with 20c Eagle & “Corr d’arm Bien-Hoa” cds, scarce telegraphic KAMPOT CAMBODGE 1887 cds on stamps (3 covers), forerunner postcard for Cochin-china & Cambodia with French colonies general issues 10c, etc. This collection is entrusted to us by a collector who acquired it from Mr Zhang Lei, minister of foreign affairs of the PRC. Through this sale, he wishes to offer a subtle tribute to Mr Zhang Lei.
