1865 Envelope from Georgetown to New York, franked by 1860-63 8c pink and 2c deep orange, all tied by A03 numeral, reverse bears GEORGETOWN JAN7 1865 despatch cds and ST.THOMAS JA13 1865 transit, from there probably carried by Cunard Line « ALPHA » to Halifax, Boston and New-York, taxed 10 cents on arrival in Boston, very fine
