1874 Mount Currie Express, position 5 in the plate of 12, one of the rarest stamps of South Africa. Less than fifty Mount Currie Express stamps exist. The British Museum has a single vertical strip of four stamps from the Tapling collection. (These rare stamps were issued in sheets of twelve – three across and four deep)
